“I’m Dr. Roman, and my journey in medicine began with a profound curiosity about the human brain and its intricate relationship with our daily lived experience. I started my academic path focusing on psychology, which provided a vital foundation for understanding the ‘person’ behind the patient. This evolved into a dedicated pursuit of neurology and osteopathic medicine, where I realized that the most effective treatments come from a deep understanding of both the structural and functional complexities of the nervous system. After serving as Chief Resident during my neurology training, I set out to bridge the gap between traditional neurological care and the often-overlooked science of sleep.
Over the past two decades, I have held diverse leadership roles, from serving as Chairman of Neurology departments to teaching the next generation of physicians as a Clinical Assistant Professor. These experiences shaped my perspective on ‘Comprehensive Care.’ I saw firsthand how chronic conditions like migraines and traumatic brain injuries are inextricably linked to sleep-disordered breathing and restorative health. This realization led me to pursue multiple board certifications in Sleep Medicine, allowing me to offer a unique, dual-lens approach to neurological wellness that few practitioners provide.
Today, my practice is a reflection of this lifelong integration. Whether I am treating an athlete with a complex concussion, a professional suffering from intractable migraines, or an individual struggling with narcolepsy, my focus remains the same: providing objective, evidence-based clarity. I have transitioned from large institutional leadership to a more personalized clinical model, where I can spend the necessary time with each patient to unravel complex symptoms and restore their quality of life through precise diagnostics and compassionate advocacy.”

“I believe that neurological health is inseparable from the quality of one’s sleep and lifestyle. My approach is rooted in Evidence-Based Medicine and a ‘listening-first’ philosophy. In my practice, a migraine is rarely just a headache—it is often a signal of underlying neurological or sleep-related imbalances. By utilizing advanced diagnostics like EEG, EMG, and sleep studies, I work collaboratively with my patients to create a personalized care plan that emphasizes clarity, objectivity, and a return to the highest possible quality of life.”
